Problem with mini implant placement
Mini implant placement need precise torque control. Two common failure: over torque cause bone micro fracture, under torque cause implant loose. Many dentist use standard implant wrench without calibrated torque, result not consistent especially in posterior area where access is small. Mini implant is 1.8-2.5mm diameter, more sensitive to torque than regular implant.
